Club News

The MAINE ALL-TERRAIN SYSTEM ("MATS") numbers major NORTH-SOUTH trails in the 100's and EAST-WEST trails in the 200's. Smaller trails use higher numbers (300's, 400's, etc.) MATS trail #105 connects Island Falls, Dyer Brook, Oakfield, Linneus & Houlton. The MATS signage allows for easier travel throughout the State of Maine just like the ITS for snowmobiles. Beginning in 2012, MATS designations will appear on the state ATV trail map.
